At the March school board meeting, Principal Young recognized members of the DECA club at Graham High School who qualified to travel to Virginia Beach and compete at the state level. Students were led by club sponsors, Ms. Jennifer Collins and Ms. Amy Mitchell, as well as chaperones, Dr. Stephanie Bowers and Mr. Mike Blevins.

Graham High School senior, Sophia Robinson, has been selected as the Virginia 4-H Representative to the National Conference in Arlington, Virginia, this April.
This national event focuses on developing the next generation of leaders by providing opportunities for students to network with fellow 4-H members from across the country and around the world. During the conference, delegates will learn more about the workings of government, explore future career opportunities, and share their perspectives with federal agencies and congressional committees.
Sophia is one of only four students selected to represent the Commonwealth of Virginia at this prestigious national conference. Please join us in congratulating Sophia on this outstanding achievement and wishing her the very best as she proudly represents Graham High School and the Commonwealth of Virginia at the national conference this April.

GHS swimmers were recognized by the Tazewell County School Board last night. The G-Men swimmers were Southwest District Champions, Region 1 & 2 D Champions, and 5th overall at the state competition! This is a remarkable accomplishment for a team of 4! Also, Ivory Mitchell qualified and attended the state competition for the G-Girls!

Graham High School's Wrestling Team was recognized at the March school board meeting. This year, Leland Altizer, Brennan Havens, and Dalton Robinson all advanced to the state competition. Leland Altizer placed 6th in the state! They are pictured with their coaches. Congrats to each of these students!

Graduation will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Richlands High School’s graduation will start at 10 a.m. Tazewell High School’s graduation will start at 1 p.m. Graham High School’s graduation will be held at 4 p.m.

The last day of school for students this year will be Thursday, June 4, 2026. The last day of school for teachers will be Friday, June 5, 2026.
